"Axiom"

an established rule or principle; a self-evident truth

Movement is axiomatic by nature. It's biologically hard-wired into our circuitry. Upon exiting the womb, we don't choose to move - we just do.

As we've evolved we have found means to expand the truth of our movement not only physically but also cognitively, creatively, emotionally, socially, culturally, and economically. Movement defines and hones our bodies but it also connects us to our inner selves and the world around us. It fosters relationships, ignites creativity,  and allows us to find purpose in our existence.

To move is to be human

"Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being..." - Plato

Movement transcends the physical form. It not only preserves our bodies, but also fosters creation, relationships, and experiences. It connects our soul to the external world, so that we may embody the total human experience.
